Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-rays (PAN) provides a broad view of the jaws, teeth, sinuses, nasal area, and TM joints.  These X-rays do not show the detail needed to detect cavities. These X-rays rather reveal problems such as impacted teeth, bone abnormalities, cysts, solid growths (tumors), infections, and fractures.

Panoramic X-rays thus provides a good overall view of a patient dental status.

Digital Panoramic X-Rays

Dr Marx uses digital panoramic X-rays.  Meaning that there is no film or development included in the dental procedure.  The X-ray beams are converted through a signal to a computer witch shows the image on the computer screen.
